Mrs Coulson stayed at the PlayaMarina Spa Hotel in Jan 2010

“The room at this hotel was very good however the evening buffet was very poor, not enough staff in the dining room and food kept running our and was not replaced quickly enough.  Food very boring and not enough choice.

We only played at Isla Canela on this holiday – we love the course, the greens are superb!”

Many golfers were moved by Riu to the PlayaMarina Spa hotel when the Riu Atlantico closed for refurbishment.  We are now pleased to announce that from 01st March, the Riu will be open again and welcoming back it’s long establish client base of golfers.  There are also some great golf holiday offers available!

El Rompido Golf Hotel

Staying at El Rompido Resort - overall rating Excellent

El Rompido – Both courses rather wet which probably restricted work on the course. Bunkers poor but to work in the South Course”

“Excellent Golf at Aphrodite Hills.  1 hole closed each day but we were given a day pass to play the Academy Course on the last day which was much appreciated.  Also the golf marshalls gave us disable flags so we could take buggies down the fairways!!

Fabulous holiday,  hotel and golf  course.  The only down side was rather colder than we had hoped and the price of drinks / food at the hotel.  Would have been nice to have some evening entertainment.”

Aphrodite Hills

“Aphrodite Hills is an excellent course in very good condition.  Tsada Golf Club (Minthis Hills) is a pretty course with a lot of work still being done, condition only fair. 

Bad weather made this a disappointing winter break

The Aphrodite Hills resort is 1st class but prices in bars and restaurants were far too high.  At these prices I would expect better than instant coffee!  The pub had the best food although still dear”

Sir Robin Duthie and his party of 6 stayed at 5* Le Meridien Penina in January 2010.  Sadly, the weather was wet but despite this the group enjoyed the Hotel and Sir Henry Cotton’s Championship Course.  The holiday overall and Premier Iberian’s service were marked as Excellent.

“We played the Pasha and Sultan, both courses were excellent!”
